Being an amateur photographer, my camera allows me to capture memories and events of my life and those around me. Cameras and Photography continue to evolve. Analogue to Digital, macro to micro, most of us now hold a fully functional camera in our hand held phones.

What to zoom in or zoom out in our camera #lens is subject and situation specific. The more we #play with the camera, we start discovering the power of the lens, the depth of capture the lens holds as latent potential. We #play with it until we have developed a #workingchemistry. As we #practice more and more, it comes #effortlessly to us. Just by seeing what we intend capturing, our mind computes the right frame to take, and that translates into a series of action with the aid of the camera. Voila!!

I feel the above ingredients are very much applicable to our life and living. With humility, I offer this metaphor for further exploration, dialogue, integrating in our personal lives.

  1. LENS — The 6 Senses we all have are the lens which captures our every moment and stores in the memory card within us.
  2. PLAY AND WORKING CHEMISTRY — Just as we play around with new toys, new gadgets, we are invited to explore through playfulness, our entire toolkit of senses. It has a lot to offer once we get into #play mode. #Play mode is the enabler towards developing a working chemistry with our senses. This working chemistry helps us to arrive at the balance we are seeking and walking towards. It is a journey of discovery.
  3. PRACTICE — This is very simple, yet more often ignored. Take a pause to reflect on your first introduction to Algebra and Geometry. As a child, it was intimidating to me to begin with. Having understood the thumb rules, the more I practiced, the more effortless it came to me. It is a simple formula to apply for any skill development.
THE MORE YOUR PRACTICE,
THE MORE EFFORTLESS IT BECOMES,

THE MORE EFFORTLESS IT BECOMES,
THE MORE YOU WILL ENJOY,

THE MORE YOU WILL ENJOY,
THE MORE YOU EXPERIENCE FREEDOM

The above article draws its inspiration from the question put forth by @JamesClear.

Am I working at the right level? Do I need to zoom in or zoom out?
