By now, this is old news for most of you readers. Pokémon Go is unofficially arrived in India, and taking the country by storm. I see a group of 50 across all age groups talking and playing Pokémon Go.

I stood, watched and finally greeted a few of them to really understand this phenomena called “Pokémon Go”. Here are some of the juicy snippets they shared.

1) Pokémon Go is making me fit as I am going on Poke walks.

2) Excellent way to make new friends. Abhishek said “I have made so many new friends just because of Pokémon Go”.

3) If you reach Level 5, you are addicted to Pokémon Go.

4) We are re-living our childhood moments.

5) Poke spots and Poke Gym discovery was a moment of delight.

6) About 1000 people are doing the Poke walk tomorrow…..goes on and on

Indeed, the conversations were animated and full of energy, hope and fun. #John Hanke has made the dream become a reality for many who grew up watching Pokémon. Thank you and hats off to John & his team, who spent years behind the scene to create this magnificent piece.

To all my “Pokémon Go” friends, here is my wish list to “Pokémon” :

1) Create a “Poke Swachh India” walk where you earn “Poke” points by actually participating in the #Swachh India movement

2) Create “Poke” Trees which when planted, you get surprise bonuses. Every “Poke” tree gets points.

3) Create “Poke” traffic lanes in India which when followed, earn you traffic discipline and smooth traffic movement.

4) Create “Poke” voting rights, which when you cast your vote takes you to a new level in the game.

5) Create “Poke” butterfly gardens, where you earn “Poke Butterfly” points for every new specie of butterflies that come to the garden. The more they come, the more points you earn.

6) Create a “Pokémon Go” world where you loose poke points with every depletion in the natural resources of the world.

….dil toh bachha hain jee…the child in me is inviting me to play “Pokémon Go”..time to go with Pokémon..hey all, please add your wish list too..:-)
