Many of us look at #mindfulness as a state to achieve. Nothing can be further away from the #truth. It is the very state we were in before we choose to come from the formless into form.
In fact, it is the very architecture woven into our soul eternally. We have to just take a U-turn to return to it. It is as simple as that. You may tell me that it is easier said than done.
Nothing that is hard or difficult was ever created by the #Divine. Look around you for a moment.
You will find #simplicity and the best example of #design thinking in continuous action. It is the very substance of creation, death and recreation. Let me give you an example to elaborate this simplicity.
I have recently got hooked onto #composting since the last one year. Every single piece of wet waste goes into an earthen pot kept in a corner of my window balcony. The Dry waste goes into recycling. In a matter of 40-45 days, I am gifted “black gold” , an earthy soil so rich in nutrients that the plants in my house and our neighbouring trees are blushing to glory. Nature simply welcomes back the wet waste into her bosom and converts it into food for the plants/trees. During the breaking down of the wet waste, you can see an entire food chain from the tiniest insect to the tiniest fly doing their work quietly, playing and having fun in the act of breaking down the wet waste. Simple as that. It is the very act of Kaizen in action.
How does it apply to you and me? Very simply put,
“Energy follows attention”.
This profound statement was shared in #ULab that I am participating in. Here are a few questions to help us reflect on this beautiful, relaxed and serene Sunday.
- Where am I investing my energy in?
- Am I investing it into my inner child or
- Am I into this huge roller coaster called “Ego” which takes me on a cyclonic expedition of illusions?
The seed has to die to give birth. The Ego has to die (one second at time) to give birth to a new “Self” (one second at a time). How about dying to start living just for one second at a time. To put in a organizational language,
How about doing a Kai’zen for our soul and getting into a gemba walk into the deeper layers of our beautiful inner world?
I sign off with one last question, what will be the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for our #Soul’s journey?
