E – Enthusiasm
Ever heard of “Pep” Bettger. Well, his real name is Frank Bettger. He wrote a best selling book by the name “How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling”. I credit him to lift my mood up 10x just by what he shares as one of the most powerful component I need to work on more “Enthusiasm”. I experimented immediately with this one word “Enthusiasm” for one hour and guess what…any guesses
My mood is upbeat, there is adrenalin rush and I experience my dopamine rush in exactly the same way I get it when I exercise
Ready to pop up the second “E”
E – Excitement
You are on the right track. With enthusiasm comes excitement, again feeling the adrenalin rush and dopamine giving me the high. In the same book, Frank shares this little secret, a statement made by Walter P Chrysler. Walter Chrysler, when asked to give the secret of success, listed the various qualities, such as ability, capacity, energy, however, more than enthusiasm, it is excitement.
Excitement is contagious. It brings in the business.
E – Energy
With enthusiasm and excitement, I believe we are unstoppable. Remember the anthem by Freddie Mercury “We will, we will rock you”.
I am bubbling with excitement and cannot wait to pass on my enthusiasm to you. Remember as a kid we were all of this. We just need to reclaim it and let the magic unfold.
E + E + E = Y
Enthusiasm + Excitement + Energy = You
