Mediocrity is often the bane most of us carry and live through in life. In my first year of entrepreneurship, I had to let go of this close friend of mine. It was painful to say bye to my friend who has been loyal to me since childhood. Never even once, did he desert me. Loyal to the core, he stayed awake with me through my journey thus far until,
I flushed it out of my life. Being an entrepreneur, my friend Mediocrity was messing my life with his mediocre thinking and action. Hence, I bid him “bye-bye” forever. Guess what happened with this….
I discovered “Failure” as my new friend in this new journey. Failure is a different kind of friend. He makes me push my boundaries in new directions, often, tripping me in unknown terrains. When I look for sympathy (another friend of mediocrity), failure comes and kicks me to get up and move my a_ _. He is a task-master whose purpose is to make me discover new parts of my “Self”, parts which hitherto existed and were clouded this far.
Says this wise sage Failure
“Celebrating Failure is the sure path to success, as it helps you transcend Fear.”
