While watching Interstellar, for the first time, I think I understood “relativity of time”. The movie stayed with me especially the distortion of time that each of us actively engage in depending on our state of mind. I understood for the first time that time indeed is relative.

When I am in a happy state, time goes very fast and it does crawl when I am in a difficult situation, crisis or trouble. Also, Friday to Sunday is a breeze and Monday is a crawl.

I stopped filling time irrespective of the week day or state of mind I am in. I started living in the “now” with an increased awareness of each moment including the one in which I am putting these thoughts in a inspired state of mind.

I stopped filling time on any activity which required me to say an emphatic “NO”. It was difficult to start, yet I did. Time kissed me a “Thank you”. I started saying a smiling “YES” on any activity which was on the path of my “purpose”. The journey changed as a result.

I stopped filling time on mindless travelling and started travelling with mindfulness. The journey changed as a result.

I stopped reading junk books and junk news, and replaced it with reading inspiring books and inspiring news. The journey changed as a result.

I stopped meeting or associating with toxic people including the habitual gossiper, the perpetual blamer and non-stop complainer. Instead, I started meeting inspiring human beings, proactive next door neighbours and non-literate yet wise old human beings. The journey changed as a result.

I stopped being #busy in life and started playing more often. The journey changed as a result.

I stopped filling my time.
